Detective Kells For HireValerie starred in a short-lived series "Sydney" on CBS on March 21, 1990, the show that was paired off with "Norman People" starring Dweezil and Moon Unit Zappa of Valley Girl game. We have a show featuring a Valley girl, followed by a show starring a Valerie girl. Cute.Anyway, the show also starred a pre-Friends Matthew Perry. The show was about a bright self-confident single woman trying to make a living as a private detective in her native Los Angeles. Her first problem was getting anyone to take her seriously. The theme song for this mild-mannered comedy was written and performed by Eddie Van Halen, "Finish What Ya Started." Several facts were taken off the Lifetime "Intimate Portrait" of Valerie Bertinelli with added facts from "The Complete Directory To Prime Time Network Shows" by Tim Brooks. |
