Plot Summary: Newlywed Laurie Wade finds her marriage, and eventually the rest of her life, shattered by her deep-rooted psychotic behavior. She goes from brief "short-circuits" to overtly murderous behavior. The film never tries to explain the cause of her mental collapse (except for a hint or two) but instead takes us into her frightening state of mind.

Plot Synopsis: A mentally ill home-maker buys a gun and opens fire on a group of grade-school children.
