Valerie Bertinelli wins $125,000 playing for The Silver Lining Foundation charity. The Silver Lining Foundation was founded by Andrea Jaeger in 1990 with the mission of providing positive lifetime experiences and a safe haven for children with cancer. The Foundation's largest program, The Benedict-Forstmann Silver Lining Ranch in Aspen, Colorado, offers these special children week-long camp sessions at their 18,000 square-foot mountain lodge facility. Children participate in horseback riding, white-water rafting, gondola rides and downhill skiing, and various other Ranch activities, while sharing common medical challenges and establishing life-long friendships. Additionally, the Foundation offers Ranch-on-the-Road programs in cities across the U.S. and abroad, a Wish Program for children in active treatment, and a Medical Relief Program to meet special needs.
