BioDavid Lascher joined the series in 1999 as Josh, a graduate student who runs a coffee house and becomes the object of Sabrina's affections.Lascher began his acting career in commercials and in musical theater while he was in junior high. He performed in a musical revue in New York City and quickly landed an agent. From there he received his first break in the Nickelodeon series, "Hey Dude!" He then landed a role in the series, "A Family for Joe," starring screen legend Robert Mitchum and Juliette Lewis. He kept his career momentum as a series regular on "Blossom" for two seasons. He also starred in the first full season of ABC's "Clueless" and was a frequent guest star on "Beverly Hills, 90210." He guest-starred on three episodes of "Veronica's Closet" as Kathy Najimy's love interest. In ABC's "Two of a Kind," he had a recurring role as the uncle of the Olsen twins. This is not Lascher's first experience working with Melissa Joan Hart. The two worked together in "Twisted Desire," a made-for-television movie. Lascher has showcased his dramatic abilities in a number of television movies, including "She Says She's Innocent," "The Flood: Who Will Save Our Children?," "Cries Unheard: The Donna Yaklick Story" and "Playing to Win: A Moment of Truth Movie." He made his feature film debut in "White Squall," starring Jeff Bridges and co-starring Ryan Philippe, Scott Wolf and Balthazar Getty. The role in which he takes the greatest pride was in "A Call to Remember," a Universal film starring Joe Mantegna and Blythe Danner for the Starz and Encore network. Lascher loves basketball and is a confessed Knicks fanatic. He's also a writer and is working on a screenplay. |
